our favourite pastime..
today was okay. my family and i went out for breakfast at Seranggoon Garden area. I ate Nasi Lemak and drank soya bean milk. it tasted as usual. when we got back home, i kinda slept. nah, i was at the tv. didn't care to work on my homework, although there was one malay comprehension left. my dad, called from downstairs.. it was already time for lunch. we had rice, squid, bittergourd soup and lychee water for dessert. actually was planning to book a tennis court at yio chu kang complex but remembered i had religious class in the afternoon. at around 4.30pm, my two brothers, my younger sister, together with me set off for our religious class. we finished at around 5pm. our mum picked us up. afterwards, we prepared ourselves for our favourite pastime... KITE FLYING. the best place to go was at the Punggol open space. It was situated right next to Punggol Secondary School. the wind was excellent today. our kites went tens of metres farther then the other kites. the nicest ive seen so far, was the bright-coloured octopus kite. it was about 15 metres from the ground yet it looked so gracefully swaying as the wind breezed. my mum, sister and i went to Caltex, a nearby petrol kiosk to buy some snacks and drinks. i was having a terrible cough at that moment. am feeling quite alright now. my dad went for a quick jog round the area. setting up the kites to fly wasn't a problem, but reeling it in; bring it down, was the hard part. it was incredibly high that reeling both kites in took bout 15-30 minutes altogether. we snapped some pictures in that period of time. the day was getting old. we quickly packed, bought some Hong Kong noodles and local fried rice on the way home. that, was our dinner. My older sister was totally worn out. i still had some energy left in me. i had bathed before dinner. it felt so refreshing. here i am after dinner. was actually supposed to type out my comprehension(too lazy to write it out on foolscap paper). well, am going to write it out tomorrow at school then. before my mother tongue lesson of course, which is the fourth period of the day. am lucky it's not the first. both my eyelids are getting heavy. *yawn* : )
